The Space Between the Waters
Genesis 1:6-8
God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters and let it separate water from water. So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. It was so. God called the expanse “sky.” There was evening, and there was morning, a second day. (NET)
Think About It!
God’s creation declares His glory! Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky displays his handiwork.” The sun, moon, stars and rainbows shine God's work. They shine God.
Without water, life on earth does not exist. Water gives us life. Water satisfies your thirst. Water heals. Water washes. God quenches your thirsty heart and spirit. God heals you and washes you clean.
Do It!
Praise and thank God for someone or something that blesses you today. Smile today and shine for Jesus. God smiles when He looks upon you.
Stand On It!
Sprinkle me with water and I will be pure; wash me and I will be whiter than
snow. Grant me the ultimate joy of being forgiven!
